Why? People take zero responsibility for their own community.

We have had further discussions with the staff at the school and we are now looking to hold an open discussion forum at the school in late August / Early September when school is back. I think it will work out quite well.

What issue did you choose to address in your Action Plan? Drinking, alcohol abuse.

Why did you choose that issue? People take zero responsibility for their own community.

How are you going to address the selected issue?

We would like to have a community meeting to engage the community in discussion about the issue.

What do you hope to achieve in the next year? We would like to organize a meeting with the Police, the Chief, teachers, principals and the community social worker and hope to convince the community to focus their energy on making it a better place.

What progress have you made so far? We are in the process of scheduling the first community meeting.
